Joanne graduated as a Registered Massage Therapist from Northern Institute of Massage Therapy in 2010. Since then, she has opened a home based massage practice specializing in Therapeutic Massage, Lensen™, and Visceral Manipulation techniques that cover a wide range of client concerns. Becoming a massage therapist has allowed Joanne many opportunities to expand her knowledge and even travel the world. She was fortunate enough to travel to Vietnam in 2012 with the Liddle Kidz Foundation and teach infant massage at orphanages throughout the country. Currently Joanne teaches infant massage classes to parents in the surrounding community.
Tami started with Northern Institute of Massage Therapy in 1996. The Northern Institute of Massage Therapy was based in Clyde, Alberta at that time. She started working in a clinic with a new Chiropractor January 1998 and graduated from Northern Institute of Massage Therapy in June of 1998. Tami has enjoyed a successful career in massage therapy and has learned several modalities to enhance the ability to treat many different conditions. She is very proud to be part of our team that holds the same high standards and values for massage therapy. We are very excited to have Tami join us in Cold Lake, as her experience and education will only enhance the quality of education our students absorb.

The applicant should also understand that we believe that our students will meet the standards set for them, and therefore we have set the minimum pass requirement at 75% in all subjects. This requires a significant personal investment from our students, but also from our instructors as well.
If you feel that you have the skills and understanding required for an instructor's position with Northern Institute of Massage Therapy, please contact us and supply proof of the listed requirements at your convenience.
